Throughout January, skywatchers will have the opportunity to see four bright planets—Venus, Saturn, Jupiter, and Mars—all in one sweeping view. Look to the southwest after dark to spot Venus and Saturn shining close together, while Jupiter dominates the sky overhead, and Mars rises brilliantly in the east.
