Our modern view of the night sky and constellations is based on Romano – Greek mythology. However our Scottish ancestors had their own unique understanding of the starry heavens. They told their own stories about the sun, the moon and the stars. The aim of this booklet is to help restore the
myths and legends of the Scottish night sky to their rightful place in our cultural heritage.
